Summary: Why can't Maclaren make a stroller like this? 2008-01-17
Comment: I looked everywhere for a lightweight umbrella stroller that was infant car seat compatible without a bar you have to remove to fold it up like the Mac techno XLR. This way if the baby is not using the stroller my toddler can which is not possible with a frame stroller. Also, it's nice to only need to keep one stroller in the car instead of two.
Zooper has the right idea with this stroller, but it could use some improvements. The black one I bought must have been a closeout 2006 model because I got it on amazon for $99 in May 2007, but it looks just like the beige one pictured here for $269. It's not as light as the Mac techno classic we had and loved, but then my main thing is I need to hang my toddler's convertible stroller on the handle bars using the shoulder straps when I go through the airport with the infant in the car seat also on the stroller and this stroller is heavier so it doesn't tip backwards like a lighter one would.
I wish the seat back would sit upright all the way, but it seems to have only two notches when there should be three. My remedy was to take the strap for the car seat and buckle it in back and tighten it all the way up which works fine and folds no problem. I love the canopy & sun shade and have used the rain cover once and the boot once. The zip up bassinet option is neat too. The seatback is comfy, but I wish it had a head hugger. I like the adjustable handles, leg rest, viewing window, ventilation options, shock absorbing wheels and manuverability (although if it were lighter I could steer it more easily with one hand). All in all can't complain for the reduced price I bought it at. Hopefully the newer more expensive models are that much better.

Summary: Zooper has Fantastic Customer service! 2007-12-14
Comment: I have had this model for just over 6 months now. I get comments all the time on how great the stroller looks I live in Japan and in the sea of aprica's Combi's and Maclaren's my Zooper really stands out.
Pro's
- It comes with a ton of accessories and I have used all of them.
- Height adjustable handles
- The stroller has a great canopy window you can easily check in on your sleeping baby unlike some of the other brands I own where the window is tiny or useless because of the angle.
- There is also a very large pocket on the canopy which is great if you are traveling I constantly carry around my wallet a pacifier and a phrase book in there.
- Car seat compatible.
- easy seat recline.
- Fantastic customer service. I managed to loose the clips that hold the bumper bar in place They sent out a new pair to me free of charge all within about 5 minutes of recieving my initial e-mail!
Cons:
-I have seen reviews complaining about the way the stroller steers I highly suspect these people had the front wheels locked. It turns very easily but I will note that the center of gravity on the stroller is a bit off which can make it a bit more difficult than a mac to navigate curbs the tradeoff is that the zooper is a lot less likely to tip over than a Mac.
-the rear basket is rather small and just like the maclaren very hard to access if the seat is reclined. Which looking at it now the waltz has a very large basket and a push bar for one handed steering. Im not sure why I thought I needed an umbrella style in the first place. But when im no longer on a stroller buying suspension imposed by my husband I may pick up a Waltz.

Summary: Took a chance 2007-09-10
Comment: I couldn't find many reviews on this stroller, but found it for a great price on Craig's list, so I couldn't resist buying it anyway. I am so glad I did! I LOVE it and so does my son. I took it out for its debut this weekend and got a ton of positive feedback on it. The sunshade and zip-up sleeping bag are wonderful accessories. I also like that the handles adjust and the seat reclines. The basket underneath is decent size. Another nice feature is that it can hold an infant carrier. I would recommend this umbrella stroller, especially if you can find it for less than the retail price.
