Summary: Great lightweight full-feature stroller, great value 2008-01-01
Comment: I researched strollers extensively before purchasing this one for my son and I am pretty happy with the Zooper Bolero. It is full-featured - e.g. can fully recline for young babies, has a canopy, storage area, can accomdate an infant car seat, etc. But unlike a lot of other full-featured strollers, it isn't too large and heavy. I couldn't imagine having one of those big heavy Graco strollers... and we have a Toyota Highlander SUV with a nice trunk area.
The stroller is easy to fold and unfold. My husband's hand was injured in an accident and he has no problem using this stroller. The handlebar is great - I love the fact that it is a single bar and not 2 separate handles, so you can sip a drink or talk on your phone while pushing the stroller. I also love the window in the hood - you can monitor your baby without having to stop and peer around the front. Also, it is very stylish looking. The price for this good looking and functional stroller is reasonable (not $900 like some other strollers I looked at), and a cup holder, rain shield, and sun shield are included. Those items cost extra for other strollers I looked at.
My only complaints are: 1)it does not do well in snow/ slush and 2) the bottom storage basket underneath is a bit small and difficult to access. Regarding 1), however, I understand that bigger wheels to allow for easier movement in snow/ slush would likely make the stroller much heavier. So I am willing to accept not being able to use it when there is a lot of snow/ slush on the ground. Regarding 2), I am also willing to sacrifice storage space for a smaller, lighter stroller. It hasn't been a problem for me yet, as so far with my son I haven't been able to shop in the mall long enough to accumulate a huge number of bags! But it would be nice if the storage basket was a little bit easier to get stuff in and out of it. If they could design the storage basket a little better, this would be nearly perfect. All in all, I have been using the stroller for 3 months so far and have been pleased.
