Summary: A perfect stroller to speed up postpartum weight loss! 2006-06-06
Comment: The Boogie is packed with features, and we have used all of them. It's the perfect stroller for heading out directly from your garage for a daily spin. Only once we got this stroller did I really start to lose my pregnancy weight. Now I lose a pound a week without even trying.
NOTABLE FEATURES:
1. The seat can totally recline, which means a newborn can ride safely without a car seat. Do not underestimate the convenience of this!
2. The handlebar adjusts to about ten different positions for different height pushers. I am 5'6" and use the fourth position, my husband is 5'10" and uses the sixth: this buggy would fit most any adult, I'd say.
3. A highly adjustable canopy and included sun screen and rain cover make this stroller prepared for a range of conditions. Some other all-terrain type strollers do not have much sun protection for the little one!
4. The seat can very easily be reversed so you can look at the baby. This is especially nice when the child is too young to appreciate scenery.
5. The front wheel locks for bumpy areas and curbs. I also use this feature when strolling on a sidewalk very close to a busy street, to be extra-sure we won't veer into the road.
6. Air-filled tires make a smooth ride, and a pump is included with the stroller.
7. A large basket underneath facilitates trips to the grocery store.
8. Customer service is excellent! Both times I called (with rather stupid questions about assembly) they answered immediately and happily helped me.
TIPS:
1. Don't buy this stroller if you will need to transport it in a car, bus, etc. often! It's very bulky when folded. However, it ought to fit in your car, if you have one. To do this you may need to remove the seat, which is easy.
2. Oil the moving parts with 3-in-1 oil regularly.
3. Use a real tire pump to check the pressure regularly.
4. Use vaseline on the parts the wheels slide on to.

5. Experts say that you should not take an infant younger than about 9 months on bumpy paths! Their brains are still very fragile until then. This is all the more reason to get the Boogie (and use it on sidewalks at first), which has such a smooth suspension.

Comment: I love the boogie, the new model is lighter than the last years. This stroller is perfect for newborns and todlers, the air tires make for a super smooth ride, both outdoors and indoors. I was afraid it would be to big for my sedan, but it fits well. I love to be able to have my newborn in view with the reverible seat. It is very easy to use. It is also compatible with most infant carriers. A+
