I've had the Ion for a few months now and I LOVE it! I always imagined it being a huge pain to go out with two babies. However, with the Ion I actually look forward to going out with my two little boys. It's easy to maneuver, quite narrow (fits very easily through doors, aisles...) and my boys are very comfortable in it. The storage space is great, the rain cover is so easy with just a zipper, and the hood is amazing - it completely protects the kids from the sun. And of course it's very trendy looking... everyone always wants to know more abt it. The customer service at Valco is also great. The sales reps are extremely helpful and they know what they're talking abt. I definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a double.

I had really wanted a City Mini Double but I bought the Valco Ion for 2 at a price was just too good to pass up that was much cheaper than the City Mini. Having a jogging stroller already, it was obvious that this was not as comfy as a jogging stroller with the large 12-16" wheels that help you over sand, snow, graass. But, if you want to walk to the local grocery store or the library, and be able to maneuver your kids inside these buildings, or say, you want to go to the flea or farmer's market, then this is the stroller for you. This is basically what I'd call a shopping stroller. Great for malls, stores, travelling, etc.

Similarities to the City Mini Double: The stroller is compact and light. It maneuvers really well. It goes through doorways easily. I got this double stroller after stopping a twin mother when I was pregnant in the store to ask what brand it was. Its super compact for a double and like the other reviewer said seamlessly navigates through regular size doors and aisles where most doubles you would only get through the doors of sliding department stores. Its pod like compact design is nice and trendy and you can use it from newborn up as the seats lie flat. No need for getting the likes of the baby trend snap n go with two newborns in tow as this stroller is amazing. It folds easy and is really lightweight.It also come with the rain cover which I didnt realise until it was delivered. My car seats will be staying in the car from now on and the ease of popping this open and laying them in is less stressful than carting two heavy carseats into a frame.
