My husband and I bought a Jeep Stroller for our little one. We love it but I can't hardly lift it out of my trunk. Since I am a teacher and am off for about six weeks, I want to take my child out. We bought the UPPAbaby G-Lite and it is great! It is light-weight, easy to use and very cute. Before purchasing I read reviews for the item. Comsumer Reports recommended it along with other websites. On this site, I read various postings. One posting that almost turned me away from the stroller was about its wheels being "cheap." However, compared to most umbrella strollers, the wheels are great. I highly recommend this stroller!

I have two kids and just recently bought two G-lite strollers. I must say I am content with my purchase. Besides the speedy delivery ( due to the fact the company is based in BK N.Y ;) ) I like the look and feel of the G-Lite stroller. Indeed a light weight stroller, handles are high and I don't have to bend over to push the stroller I'm 5'9". I like the fact that you can remove the cushion and throw it in the wash. The wheels are plastic/rubber so it has a smooth ride for both the person pushing and the kid riding. Nice sizeable basket underneath and a cup holder. I specially love the canopy with the added uv resistant shade underneath which on hot days will come in handy as it will help on keeping the heat off my kids head or face whichever you prefer as the inner thermal shade is adjustable. Most light weight strollers are usually not too wide, this one is fairly wide that it accomodates my kid comfortably with a winter jacket. I have bought just about every stroller there is on the market (they are collecting dust in the basement) and finally found the stroller that best fits our needs. This lightweight umbrella stroller is perfect for quick trips to the store or for longer day trips out. It folds easily, is comfortable, has a removable and washable seat, has a giant SPF extendable canopy and a cup holder for mom or dad. Best of all, it can stand on its own when folded---something a Maclaren can't do. The stand alone feature is a life saver for me and I don't have to set the stroller on the ground in wet weather as I try to fit it in the trunk. I bought the lite over the Uppa G Luxe because it is more of a bare bones version (not as bulky and I didn't need it to recline) and weighs less yet it is still a comfortable ride.
