First, a bit of background on my stroller usage. We didn't purchase a stroller before our baby was born because we wanted to wait to see what our needs would be. We started with a Snap 'n' Go travel system handed down from a friend. This has lots of benefits and we still use it, but the steering and handling were pretty bad, so it was not good for long walks. I bought an Uppababy G-Luxe when my baby was about 4 months old and loved that it was lightweight and handled much better than the Snap 'n' Go on the city sidewalks. The fold is amazingly easy, and it stands up when folded, so it is great for taking in the car and we always bring it when we travel by air. However, after a few months I realized I wanted a few features that the G-Luxe didn't have:

1. The ability to turn the seat to face me.

2. A big, easily accessible basket.

3. The ability to put a diaper bag on the handlebar without the whole stroller tipping over.

I had the Joovy Kooper appletree stroller which broke within three months of use. After that, I tried the B-reday Agile but had to return it on the next day because it was too wide and it didn't fit some stores/restaurants isles. I then decided to wait for the Uppababy cruz to come out. I spent 6 months without a stroller, but it was worth the wait.

The stroller is great!!! I love the basket! It fits everything I need: my handbag and other things if I need to. The wheels seems to be very strong and I haven't had any problem with them yet. The seat is reclining and can face both ways if we want it to. My son is going to be 3 years old in FEB and loves to walk. AND, yes I could make him walk or just go home when he gets tired. But, I like to have the option to have a nice stroller to use when he is tired and I still need to finish my errands. This is when we use the stroller. He fits perfectly and he loves it. Just got this one to use instead of my old uppa vista. Love the light weight on it. Folding is very easy, can stand up by itself, has great canopy, can reclined flat, with reversible seat. Two thing i wish it had from vista, the option to have s bumper bar and snack tray, and multi position foot rest, this one has only 2 positions while vista has like 4. It takes much less space in trunk, has huge basket and super maneuvrability! Colors are gorgeous. Do not have any problems with handle bar. And yes, its not a umbrella stroller, do not get it and be angry all over it like the other reviewer if you are looking for umbrella one) it takes less than 20 seconds for me to get it out the car and open, and even faster to fold. To put it standing up simply leave the handle bar in higher position while folding. Its a great stroller for the price!
