This review is from: Summer Infant Quick Smart Easy Fold Stroller With Weathershield Blue Sky (Baby Product) I decided to purchase this stroller because it a) had the right price point b)looked cool c) folded small d)was lightweight
I was a little worried about buying something without reviews from a company I'd never heard of...but so far so good. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and am generally satisfied. It really does fold amazingly flat pretty easily. There are, of course, some tricks to master. But once you do it's quick. BUT it definitely takes 2 hands. there is no way of doing it 1 handed - period. to date, the only stroller to do that was the Inglesina Zippy. It rolls over uneven sidewalks very well and is very stable. The handlebars are fixed. They're comfortable for me at 5'5", but might be less so for someone significantly shorter or taller. The undercarriage storage is basically nonexistent (as you can see from the picture) it's good for a couple of medium sized stuffed animals and not...Read more 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By Dee (NY) - See all my reviews This review is from: Summer Infant Quick Smart Easy Fold Stroller With Weathershield (Baby Product) My primary purpose for making this purchase was for our cruise vacation. My decision to go with the Summer Infant QuickSmart Stroller, I feel was a good one. The main things that made this stroller win out over the others were: small fold, sufficient recline, and lightweight. I compared it to the Quinny Zapp, Lebruss Take-off, Mia Moda Cielo Evolution, and the musty spider (among others). It was great on the flight; it fit very comfortably in the overhead bin on the 757 airplane. It was great on the cruise - I was able to push my 15 month daughter around from deck to deck and front to back without much challenges (steering is not idal, but not a major impediment). She was comfortable awake and for naps. It also worked well when we docked and walked around the various islands - I had no problems with any of the street surfaces we encountered. To accommodate the lack of storage, I hung a mesh stroller bag (mother-in-law found in a .99 cent sore) from...Read more 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By DH Gummy (New York, NY United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Summer Infant Quick Smart Easy Fold Stroller With Weathershield Pesto (Baby Product) I purchased the Summer Infant QuickSmart Stroller for a trip. My guess is that most people who are interested in this stroller buy it for the ability to travel on airplanes with it. The problem is that LxWxH measures about 52". The plane limitation for my trip was 45". Thus, it exceeded the maximum volume requirement. I called the Company and the person who picked up the phone could not confirm that it would fit in airplane overhead bins. The stoller itself seems like a great design; however, the bag is so flimsy, it basically cannot be used. Unfortunately, I purchased the stroller to fit in an overhead airplane bin and based on the failure to fit in overhead bins, along with the poorly constructed bag, forced me to return the item. Amazon.com was excellent and credited my account for the return. |
