When not in use, it?s quickly and easily folded away to await its next adventure. Stokke Xplory Rider is intended for use with only one child at a time and is suitable from approx. two years of age. Maximum weight limit is 20 kg (44 lbs). Please note that the Stokke Xplory Rider can be attached to all new Stokke Xplory chassis from serial number 113464 and higher. Yes, this board can only be used by newer reb braked stokkes or certain older chasis . I had a 2009 stokken then upgraded it so I can attach the board. I bought this board to use for when my son, when he starts walking he could ride the board when he didn't feel like sitting.. thought it would be cool. My still hasnt used it yet but I have the board on my stroller and when I dont use it I put up and it connects magnetically to the chasis . When I'm shopping I use this board..I sometime 's carry 2 24 packs of water on it , shopping basket on it when doing light grocery shopping. this board eve holds are carry on bag when we travel. I love this board! snaps on easily if your stroller is compatible. The 2 downsides are ..you have to have a newer stroller, and when you walk the board gets a tiny bit in the way .

It said in the description of this product that this can only be connected to chasis belonging to the specified chasis number which I find really unfair for the others like who had already bought the whole system 1-2 years earlier before they lauched this product. The whole system is not exactly cheap for you to buy another Stokke Xplory just to be able to get this product fit it. You'll probably better off buying a BUGABOO from the start because they have a universal generic Bugaboo Board that could fit all types of stroller they have.

I went to purchase the Stokke rider for my 2 1/2 year old son, so he can ride with my newborn. We loved this stroller, but the rider does not work with our model. I purchased it 2 1/2 years ago, so this would be the right time to buy the next component for our stroller. It's such a huge design and planning flaw on Stokke's part not to have a board that fits this model.
