I really wanted to love this stroller. I reviewed several strollers over three months and decided on this one. My final decision was narrowed down to the First Years Wave and this stroller. First, let me state that I do not hate this stroller. I am a first time mom of a charming 10 month old. I purchased this stroller when my son was 8 months. This stroller has some major positives and negatives.
Positives--
1. I love the idea of the compact fold. I also love the reversible feature of the stroller. I wanted a stroller that I could use in a variety of settings. We travel monthly as a family; whether we are undertaking a 5 hour drive to Grandma's house or a flight to the west coast, we needed a reliable stroller. We have a baby trend jogger. It is too large and cumbersome to take anywhere other than the park. I drive a large SUV. The jogger stroller takes up over half of the storage with third row let down. The compact fold of the Quinny is perfect.
2. I can remove the...Read more

I just received my Quinny Zapp Extra and I must say I'm in love. I have a few strollers already (a Graco Snugride Frame, BOB Revolution and a Maclaren Quest) but this Quinny is definitely the best all around stroller. My Snugride frame has been my best friend for the first 3 months of my daughter's life but now I could tell she was getting a little cramped in her car seat and wanted more space while we're running errands, shopping, etc. Our BOB is a great exercise stroller but it's big and bulky (especially with the car seat adaptor) and even when folded down takes up a lot of room in my trunk (and I have a large SUV). Finally, we haven't even used our Maclaren yet because she has to face forward and I don't think either of us is ready for that...enter the Quinny. In my book the best thing about the Quinny is that the seat can face you (and reclines) and then later can face the world (when you're both ready). It's easy to maneuver and a great size. The sunshade is phenomenal...Read more

I recently bought the Quinny Zapp Xtra (Rocking Black) and I love it. Its really compact and it easily fits into my car without taking up much room. Unlike the Quinny Zapp, you can hang sum light bags on the Xtra handles without it falling back. I love that my son can both see me and the world with the reversible seat. No cup holder (not a big deal, you can order one). The sunshade is large so offers great protection from the sun. My son falls asleep as soon as he gets in it, so its very comfortable. It can lay flat but i do not recommend for parents with young babies unless you buy the carseat because this is a two handed fold stroller. I love the safety straps because there not so easy for a toddler to unbuckle. The one press brake is also a plus. Now to the down side of this stroller. NOISY!!!Stroller makes to much noise on pavement. Also would of liked if it was a one handed fold. If you're caught in a rain and trying to fold it, its torture. The basket is ok but not great for...Read more
