Product Review

A lightweight, full sized stroller when opened yet the smallest stroller in the world when folded. The lightness of the frame and maneuverability of the swivel wheels allow you to easily manage the Zapp with just one hand, and the locking mechanism for the front wheel makes more challenging terrains easier to deal with. Includes a sun canopy, rain cover and travel bag. Compatible with the Maxi-Cosi Mico Infant Car Seat (sold separately). Weighs 13 lbs. For children 6 mos. to 4 years and up to 40 lbs. 30"H x 13"W x 10"D. Black, Manderin, Pink, Lime, or Capri.

The Zapp (US version) is a very good stroller for traveling types. The addition of the four-point ride for the US version (instead of the original three-pointer in the EU) has resolved any stationary or moving stability problems. The Zapp is light, but not too light like a cheap, flimsy umbrella stroller you'd find at the dollar store, and thus, it's great for traveling or for small cars with even smaller trunks. It's easy to push and maneuver, and it has good looks.

Will it replace my Bugaboo Gecko? No! It's not as easy to drive one-handed since there is no handlebar, only handles. With the Bugaboo you can center one hand on the bar and maneuver it nicely one-handed. The other reason why my Zapp will not replace my Gecko is the ride. Bugaboos have primo suspension! When I push the Zapp on the street or sidewalk, it's a bit rattly, and the wheels make *noticeable noise* almost like a shopping cart's. At that moment I knew I was missing the utter silence and smoothness of a...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars a great stroller - as long as you are not super-tall, January 13, 2008

I have the Quinny Zapp stroller in capri. So far, I'm very happy with it.

1) :-): I was so happy that I was able to assemble the stroller myself! (OK, I typically rely on my husband to bring out his tool box, ignore the instructions, and figure it out the manly man way.) I just identified the parts per the manual, followed the instructions, and pop, there it was!

2) :-): Sometimes, us mommies forget how to close or open the stroller, thanks to all the craziness going on. But the Zapp has the parts clearly marked to assist you in closing and opening the stroller. Making it a total breeze.

3) :-0: My husband has a uncomfortable time pushing this stroller because he needs to bend his back a bit, rather than be able to just stand up straight. So if you're tall, don't buy it without testing it out first.

4) :-): They're really not kidding when they say that the Zapp is currently the smallest stroller out there. It takes up only a tiny chunk of...Read more

The Zapp is definitely a great stroller. It maneuvers like a dream, is very compact (folded and open), has comfortable handles and an easy brake system (one pedal locks both back wheels). Couple of drawbacks - the seat forces my average-sized seven-month old into a slouchy position that she finds uncomfortable beyond 30 minutes or so. I think this will improve once her legs are longer. The other issue is its lack of cup-holders, but I consider this a fair trade for its fold-down size.
