Summary: Love this stroller 2008-10-23
Comment: I bought this stroller when I was expecting our third child. Number two and three are about two years apart, so we felt we needed a double stroller. I had used a Perego Venezia with the first two and loved the quality. Perego was the way to go for me. I have found the stroller to be good looking, lightweight, and very easy to steer. I get compliments on it regularly while out with the kids. I love that the baby can be completely covered when in his carseat (that attaches to the stroller's back seat), and my older son loves the room he has in the front seat. You cannot recline the front seat when the infant seat is in the back, but that has never been a problem for us. There is not a whole lot of storage room below, but my diaper back is backpack style, so I don't have trouble with that either. There is, however, plenty of room for an extra diaper and wipes (necessities). I usually don't even carry the diaper bag, unless we are out for a long outing. I just tuck the baby's bottle in his carseat with him and a burp cloth, and we're good to go. The only thing I have noticed is that things seem to break off pretty easily. For instance, when the stroller arrived, the hoods were crooked. I thought it was probably a shipping issue. Then, one of the handle height adjusters fell off. We've had a few of these issues arise, and Perego has sent us new replacements free of charge. I still think compared to what else is out there, Perego is still made better than the other double strollers on the market. And it is definitely one of the best looking and lightest weight ones you could find. I would recommend this stroller.

Summary: Hard to Handle 2008-07-09
Comment: I bought this stroller a while ago and was pretty happy with it when the kids were small (my kids are 16 months apart). As they got older though the stroller got much harder to manuever and is slowly falling apart. For some reason it does not want to go straight. The storage area underneath is too small. My kids really enjoy it because the seats are big and comfortable. I also liked the fact that the back foot pad goes up and locks to create a "bassinet" so that the baby cannot fall out. However, its tough to recline the front seat too far if you have a kid in the back. The stroller also weighs a lot. I used to enjoy this stroller but now I try to avoid it.

Summary: Disappointing... We would not recommend this poor quality stroller. 2008-06-27
Comment: When our first daughter was born, we bought the P3 and loved it. When our second daughter arrived, we did not consider a brand different from Peg. The quality difference between the P3 and Tender is stark. The P3 is well-built, well-designed, and Italian made. The Tender is poorly built and made in China. The design is fair. It does not collapse as well as strollers our friends own, it lacks storage, and the Peg Perego Viaggio car seat we used with the P3 does not snap in to the Tender. While folding the stroller, the foot rest clipped something and a rivet popped out. The foot rest now swings freely and dangles. The materials the stroller is made of are not rigid enough given the length of the stroller. As a result, even on the sidewalks in our neighborhood, it's extremely difficult to push this stroller in a straight line. Whether turning or trying to maintain a straight course, the flex within the frame and handle makes controlling this stroller a squeaky and labored process. Finally, given the amount of plastic in the stroller, it's surprisingly heavy.

I cannot think of too many merits of this stroller. The folding and unfolding mechanism can be managed by one person. It looks pretty good. The wheel locks and braking mechanism are decent. You'll need the front directional wheel locks to help you steer a straight course when pushing this stroller outdoors.

We were extremely disappointed in this stroller. We're going to replace it with a cheaper, superior model from a different manufacturer.

Summary: looks better than it drives 2008-06-13
Comment: Fabric is great, seats are wide and roomy, light weight, easy to fold and store, and the removable shades are great. Major cons are no storage, no cup holders, and is impossible to steer once your kids are beyond infant stage. I have a 1.5 and small 3 year old and every time I take it out, it reminds me of how much I hate it and need a new stroller. If it was easier to steer I could live with the lack of storage but handling is pretty important when your pushing around the weight of 2 kids plus the stroller.

Summary: Cadillac of strollers with a hatchback for storage 2008-04-29
Comment: After searching through many doubles, I found this stroller. Its wonderful. It has a smooth ride, easy to steer (even with two kids loaded in, I can steer it with one hand). The sunshades are awesome!! You can unzip the backs of the sunshades for good air flow on hot days. And if the infant falls asleep in his infant car seat, i can cover him completely out of the sun/weather. Plus, it has an interesting adjustable handle. My 6 ft hubby doesn't mind using it. Cons: if the car seat is in the stroller, my toddler in the front seat can't recline at all..not good if you have a hefty sized toddler. Won't be a problem if you don't use the matching car seat. The seats recline nicely, very easily. Its a little annoying to keep it collapsed when I'm done with it - if you don't fold it up just right, the stroller won't stay closed - it pops open when I lift it in the car (my husband hates that part). Plus for the price, I'd expect a nice parent tray or cupholder - I don't even use the weak cupholder that came with it (it pops off easily and looks like the designer made it an afterthought - its really cheap looking). And it has almost no storage - the little bit i have will be lost once the baby grows and uses the footrest. Makes it hard to carry a purse/diaper bag, a drink and shopping bags. I have considered buying the matching the diaper bag - it has hooks specifically for the diaperbag, but the bag is stiff looking - and masculine. Overall though, it's an awesome stroller. Fits in any place a single tandem would fit...Lighter than most doubles, fairly compact, easy to fold but has poor room for storage or cupholders. I have a minivan and it can fit standing upwards, as well as on its side, or flat without a problem...I think it would fit in a larger trunk - like a Honda Accord sized trunk, but if you have a small car I doubt it would fit.
