This stroller LOOKS cool... but that's IT!,

Let me begin by saying I like well-designed, good-looking, useful products. I wanted to like the Mutsy spider. I was really disappointed. A lot of style with not a lot of good function here. Here are my complaints.
1) It's HEAVY. REALLY REALLY HEAVY... and awkward at that.
2) The fold is easy to do. But it doesn't stay locked in place and when you have to lift it into a car... see #1
3) The triangle-shaped basket is totally useless. If it were square and just shallow as it is you could at least "rest" something on top of it. No such luck.
4) The seat doesn't get vertical enough. My kid had a hard time seeing because he was so far laid back (in it's highest position)
5) the seat back is almost completely flat. It doesn't hold a smaller child very securely. Most strollers are sort of hammocked in the back to hold a child from falling over the side. if you kid fell asleep in this he would easily hang out of the side.
6) The sunshade is...Read more

We bought the Spider to use it for a couple of months after our son grew out of his car seat but was not yet ready for the Zapp. And I love it! We still use it daily!
It's easy to push (almost as eazy as the Zapp), and it looks very cute. It can be folded with one hand (I hold the baby in the other hand - and he's quite heavy, 10kg), and then I can easily carry it up one flat of stairs - it has a carrying handle (unlike the Zapp). My only complaint is that once folded, if you recline in on the wall it unfolds a little. There is a velcro strap that can be used to block it however it's not do-able with one hand. I hope they'll come up with a better locking system.
The basket underneath is perfect for a bottle, a sandwich, a toy, some napkins etc. (it's not a shopping basket).
I like the telescopic handle bar.
The canopy works like a regular stroller canopy - if the sun is above or behind it blocks it, but if it's slightly in the front you will need a...Read more

I absolutely Love this stroller,

I absolutely love this stroller. Although, I will caution that the bright blue is not as pictured. That blue looks more of a turquoise color that can go for either a boy or a girl. The blue that you get is BOY blue. Meaning a normal blue kicked up a notch to give it a boost. Hence Bright Blue. I was a little disappointed in the color.
I have 7 Strollers. Yep count em 7. I started off with a combo strollers that I think most first time moms get. Big mistake. I hated it. #1 those things are HUGE and cumbersome. You need an SUV or something to tote just that around. It had so many flaws and was not cheap either. I went in search of better strollers that suited my needs. Unfortunately this is stroller number 7.
This stroller fit all the needs that I was looking for in a "compact stroller".
1. Its EASY to push. You don't have to fight with it to get it to in the direction you need it to go. And its a true one handed steering. I can actually talk on the...Read more
