After reading all the reviews I could find and asking my mommy list serve for advice, I finally got to test drive one of these today. I really thought it was going to be the stroller for us but sadly, it's not. My advice to all of you reading reviews of the Duet is to make *sure* you test drive one in person before you buy. Here's why:
We thought this was the perfect compromise stroller for us. We have a BOB single and are expecting Baby #2, and we LOVE our BOB. We keep it in our garage and whip it out for walks on the bike trail near our house all the time. We have a different umbrella stroller (the UppaBaby G-Luxe - LOVE it, it's the best umbrella stroller out there) in the trunk for errands, the mall, going to a friend's house, etc.
We realized we can't do the BOB Duallie because it's too wide to fit in our garage without being folded up. There's just no way that I'm going to fold, unfold, and haul in and out of the back of our garage a 30+ pound...Read more

I have 4mth old boy/girl twins and I'm really loving this stroller. We had the baby jogger city select, and while we loved it with the car seats, it was really hard to push/turn as the kids got heavier.
Now that the kids able to sit on their own, we decided to look at other options. We were always a big fan of the side by sides but couldn't get over the size of them. The Duo was just too heavy for my wife, and the BOB Duallie was just too big. This is where the city select did great because it was light, small, BUT dealing with the car seat adaptors and seats was a pain.
When I heard about the DUET, we had to go see it. We loved the look of mountain buggy and we instantly knew that this stroller would work for us. Please note that my review is based on how well the stroller performs as advertised, and not what I think an ideal stroller should be.
Size - perfect for our little ones. There's lots of room to grow, but the seats are definitely...Read more

After going through a number of strollers (Greco, Tike Tech) I finally bought this one. It's wonderfully sturdy, well balanced, can go almost anywhere and the kids seem to like it. They never complain. It fits through any doorway. Also what I like is that its build for men or women to use. With some strollers I find the handle bar positions me too close to the back wheels, so then I keep accidentally kicking the back tires. Very annoying.
I walk sometimes 2-3 miles a day with the kids, never a problem. My 3 year old Mountain Buggy Double recently was taken after I left it at the kid's preschool for a few hours. Now I'm getting another one. A used one.
