Product Review

The Micralite FastFold Superlite has all of the features of a full-size stroller but functions as an umbrella stroller. Weighing in at only 14 pounds, the FastFold Superlite is a compact and ergonomic stroller that is easily maneuvered using only one hand. The sliding seat reclines for baby's comfort or sits upright so your child can enjoy the views.

Available in a range of vibrant contemporary colors, the FastFold Superlite features an ingenious single-handed folding action and stands alone when folded. Recognized for its ability to cover all terrains, the Superlite's rear pneumatic tires soak up the bumps and ensure the passenger a comfortable ride. The swiveling front wheels give excellent control in the street and allow precise maneuverability in tight spots.

1.0 out of 5 stars Micralite has bad customer svc, doesn't honor warranty, shoddy., May 17, 2012

Do not trust this company. I purchased my FastFold from a very reputable dealer (BuyBuyBaby/BedBathBeyond) and was told that the 5-year warranty covered everything that came in the original box, inclusive of the air pump. My stroller did not have an air pump with the packaging, so I contacted Micralite directly.
First, they tried to tell me the stroller did not come with air pump (look at BBB website description!!).
Then they tried to pawn me off on Scandinavian Child, who no longer even distributes their products!
And then when all else failed, they wanted me to pay for a new pump and have it shipped from the UK.
Utterly ridiculous. If this is how they treat a new customer and this is the extent of the warranty, I want nothing to do with this company. I don't need this sort of run-around and lack of accountability on Micralite's end for the 5 years that the stroller is supposed to be under warranty.

Also, none of their accessories are available in the...Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Handle bars broken in less than a year, April 22, 2012

So at first I was very happy with this stroller, but I have been using it a couple of times a week for about 8 months, and the stroller is practically useless. The handle bars are designed in such a way that you can adjust them, which is great, but now, after 8 months of use, there is no way to tighten them enough so that they stay firmly in a given position. Instead, every time I try to go up over a curb, the handle bars swing down, which at best is very awkward, and worst unsafe.

This is a great stroller I was a bit skeptical at first but after using it this weekend I'm hooked. My son just turned 5 months old and I needed a simpler stroller that i didn't have to put together and breakdown every time we go somewhere. We had the Bugaboo Camelon (its a nice stroller as well) but it was just not convenient enough for us. The Micralite is the perfect blend of full size stroller with lightweight handling, the basket underneath is not huge but we managed to fit a good amount of shopping bags inside. We still needed accessories like a cup holder and bag hooks but those we bought and they work great with the stroller. you do have to make sure to unload the back first because of the lightweight the stroller will tip backwards with things on it. Other than that the stroller is a great buy. Jeep Universal Stroller Hook, 2...Read more
