Within 6 months the umbrella parts broke, the bolts came out of the frame, and the closing feature doesn't close consistently. I called the manufacture to have the stroller repaired under warranty and they would not fix any of the problems. They said they would be more than happy to sell me the parts but would not fix the stroller. The stroller still works but the umbrella closes randomly and the frame is wobbly. I would not buy this product or any other Mia Moda products. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Mia Moda Compagno Stroller, Black (Baby Product) I Got this stroller specifically to go to Orlando and it was great both for parks and shopping. I have a 5 year old and a 2 1/2 and it worked fine for them. I did a lot of "research" before buying and choose this one because it has some extra features I thought were interesting like: padded back rest and strap; the ajustable handle and the easy folding system. It is quite big and you do need a large car trunk. The only thing I as a little disappointed was the I thought the basket was not so big, but I got some hooks and ended up putting my extra bags on the handle. I do recomend this stroller. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Krissy (UT) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Mia Moda Compagno Stroller, Navy (Baby Product) The Mia Moda Compagno is a great stroller. There are only a couple of reasons that I did not give it 5 stars. The stroller is very heavy, so if you would be lifting it often, that could be a problem. The basket is difficult to access because when you lift the rear seat to get to the basket, there is a support bar across the opening. I can fit my diaper bag into the basket, but it's pretty difficult to get it in and out. The last problem with the stroller is that the straps in the front seat do not adjust down small enough for a baby. I have a good sized 8 month old (86th percentile) and I have the straps as short as they will go and they are quite loose. Luckily she is really stable, so it hasn't been a big issue for us, but for a small baby, it could be a big problem.I love the way this stroller looks. It seems less boxy than the Joovy and has a smaller wheel-base than the Baby Trend. The canopy is a decent size, though it is open across the back, which can let in some...Read more |
