UPDATE 2/25/12 - According to a recent article " Wow, Why Has Maclaren Quietly Filed For Bankruptcy Liquidation? - On December 29, 2011, Maclaren USA, the premium umbrella stroller company, quietly filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Connecticut. The company's US headquarters is in Norwalk, where its owner, private equity investor Farzad Rastegar, lives.." Please see comments for link. Alas, I don't know what this means for us owners in terms of customer service going forward.

With three kids under five I've had my fair share of double strollers. Given the huge competition the Twin Techo now faces from other brands and types of strollers, I'll just say it's a good everyday errand stroller for twins.

THE PROS
* Very easy to maneuver
* Fits through most exterior doors but not all indoor ones (doctor's offices are especially difficult)
* Short length makes it suitable for indoor use (restaurants, malls)
* Relatively lightweight for a...Read more

I bought this stroller 5 years ago because my micro-preemie twins were finally coming home. The first time I ever had a challenge with it was today- a nut had fallen off so everything was out of whack- found the nut and it is 100% again. We have used it multiple times a week, every week, for 250+ weeks. My twins now weigh 37 & 35 pounds and it is easy to maneuver and it's still going strong. My only thought is that "Wow. NICE blue. Too bad it was a simple repair" :) GREAT. DURABLE. LONG LASTING.
I have also used this stroller for my youngest and a much larger cousin- it's the only twin stroller I have used that doesn't handle poorly with kids weighing 20+ pounds apart in either side. Well worth every penny.

Bought this stroller cause we loved the mclaren XLR. and already had the techno for one child. but the twin tecnho was really dissaponting. First because it is really hard to open. You have to struggle with the stroller so it can open properly. Second, you have to buy the sunshade, that it is really big. And its one more thing you have to remember to carry on. I will recommend the city mini double form baby jogger. its much better and easier to use. plus the kids get much more confortable when they need to sleep in the stroller.
