Summary: Great stroller, a bit pricey 2007-07-05
Comment: Bought this stroller to take with us on a cruise over a year ago. It was a dream to fly with...very lightweight, folds small (and folds and unfolds quickly which is important when trying to get through the security lines) My son really likes it and finds it comfortable. It is easy to clean, although I would recommend getting one that has a darker colored canopy as the wheels will touch the canopy when folded and tend to leave marks. I have read reviews that complain about wheel wear but have had no problems even though we use it nearly everyday. Maybe those people are taking the stroller on gravel roads or non-paved services? Or have really heavy kids? Anyway, I know people who spent less on their umbrella strollers (and have had to replace them)but I'd rather pay more once and be done!

Summary: wheels wear out prematurely 2006-07-08
Comment: From an unhappy owner in Seattle:
Before you buy a MacLaren, go to any playground and look at the wheels. You will notice that 80% of the rear wheels have worn unevenly and prematurely. When contacted, MacLaren says only that they must have been used too much. So, 80% of owners use their strollers too much? Or are 80% of MacLaren Strollers defective in either design, manufacturing, or materials (or some combination)?
After owning one for 8 months, all I have to say is caveat emptor!
