Maclaren products are designed for on-the-go parents that need a stroller that can keep up with them. The Maclaren Techno XLR is a roomy, full-featured travel system that coordinates in style with the Maclaren baby carrier and rocker. Appropriate for newborns and older, the Techno XLR features a coordinating seat liner, head hugger, and shoulder pads for a younger child but can be easily removed once the child is older. Weighing 16.5 pounds, the Techno XLR features height adjustable handles, adjustable leg rests, and 4 reclining seat positions for baby's comfort. This buggy is also compatible with most major car seats. Its wheels are lockable and dual swivel for greater control and easier strolling. All Maclaren buggies include the Sovereign Lifetime Warranty.

I LOVE this stroller. I spent months looking for a stroller before I ended up with this one. I wanted a stroller that was lightweight, bigger than the cheapo umbrella strollers but smaller than the jumbo full size strollers. I also wanted something that I could use with an infant car seat. I first bought the Uppababy Vista. When we put it together in our kitchen we realized how massive it was. It didn't seem that big in the large store where we bought it. The seat was actually broken and wouldn't snap in, so I took it as a sign to keep looking and so I returned it. After reading some reviews online, I decided to get this stroller in Persian Red. By the way, the red is more like a dark pink. The stroller is everything that I wanted and more! It is SO easy to push around. I'm pretty small and I have no problem putting it in the trunk of our car. It folds and unfolds in 3 seconds. The seat reclines to almost completely flat with one hand. Ordered this stroller specifically for the car seat adapter only to have it arrive with no car seat adapter bar. Called Maclaren to find out why and the rep. told me that as of 2010 (I bought the 2011 model) this stroller no longer includes the car seat feature. He said that Amazon had been informed and that they should not be advertising it as car seat-compatible. Very frustrating as I was leaving on a trip and needed the carseat/stroller combination right away. Searched high and low but no aftermarket car seat adapter bars were available to fit this unit. So annoyed...I should have bought the Bumbleride Flite instead.

I just upgraded to the Maclaren Techno XLR in Persian Red. It is excellent in every way. I am completely satisified. I previously had a Quest and the Maclaren quality is unbeatable. I love that this stroller is a bit larger, but not cumbersome. Maclaren makes in my opinion the best strollers on the market. They are extremely durable, comfortable for child, light-weight, and fold compactly as to not consume the entire trunk. Given that I am a petite mom, this stroller is very easy for me to lift and use. I highly recommend Maclaren. The quality, ease of use, and comfort are unparalled! You will not be disappointed!
