Kolcraft Travel About® Lightweight Stroller

This is a great stoller for the parent when compared to the traditional umbrella stroller -- it has storage space underneath, tray for baby, cupholder for you, and is very lightweight and compact. However, from the baby's point of view, it's a bad place to spend any amount of time. The cushioning behind the back and under the diaper is paper thin, and underneath is basically cardboard. So no back support and my children never slept in it because they seemed like they just couldn't get comfortable. Also, it is techically a reclining seat, but it is adjustable only by a strap in back. Not very secure, I don't think, and it doesn't allow for your child to sit up completely, which drives my little one crazy. Because of this, she can't reach the tray, and probably won't be able to until she's much older and has longer arms. Paid about 40 dollars for this. I guess you get what you paid for. seat reclines but not all the way which is OK for my three month old. It is very light which is always a plus. Seat is very uncomfortable very thin, very small for my three month old and supported with what appears like cardboard inside the seat. Wheels are made of plastic. The trays are very tricky and not easy to install should snap in instead of forcing it to fit. The tray in the front for the baby did not fit at all so I can't even use that feature. I Should have paid a little more for a stroller that would be more comfortable for my little one and safer.
Folds with one hand which is great but collapsed on me once when it was open. Not sure why.

I am a mother of three a 7, 3 and 1 year old. I have been through many of strollers through the years. I dont have this exact one. I have the model before this one. This stroller is so compact and lightweight it makes loading so easy. It does not take much room up in the car at all. There is nothing to say but good things about this stroller. I have 3 strollers a Graco travel system, a Graco dubble stroller and this one. My other 2 strollers cost me ALOT of money but my favorite is this one. I think it is a must to have. I like to use this stroller for walks, parks, zoo, Walt Disney and any other type of amuesment parks. This is actually my 2nd stroller like this one. After my second child I thought I was done having kids and sold it. But then found out I was pregnant again with my third so I had to buy another one. There is no way I would of gone without it. It is worth every penny. I had never of had the problem with my kids being uncomfortable in it.
