I have had a travel system and an umbrella stroller, and I went from one set of problems to another. The Kolcraft is the perfect in-between stroller with the benefits of a big stroller and an umbrella stroller, making the ideal balance between both. I will compare it to my Graco travel system (the one where the handle flips) and my BRU umbrella.

Pros:

-Big canopy that doesn't need to be removed when folding the stroller like my BRU umbrella. I also like that the canopy goes straight across instead of pointing up in the air like my travel system, so it gets better coverage than both my other ones.
-One handle instead of two so I can steer with one hand.
-Big basket.
-Play tray for baby.
-Cup holder tray for me.
-Shock absorbers and smooth steering.
-Reclining seat.
-Very easy to fold with one hand.
-Folds wider but shorter than the umbrella, and since it is lightweight I can get it in the trunk and it fits, even in our...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Travel Stroller, August 15, 2011

I absolutely love this stroller. I used it for five years on many trips with my two children. It is perfect for travel and airports as well as handy to have as a second lightweight stroller for trips to the mall, grocery store etc. I much prefer this to an umbrella stroller which does not allow for much storage space underneath. The one button flat collapse is just as good if not better.

I really wanted this to be the perfect lightweight "second" stroller for air travel with my baby. The price and weight are right and all the features are included (child tray, parent tray, canopy, storage) except this stroller DOES NOT recline. The reclining feature is a joke.

PROS
*Weight is no more than 12 lbs
*Most features are included so you don't have to spend more money for things like a cup holder
*One hold fold
*Easy to assemble (I managed and I never assemble anything)

CONS
*Does not recline - may be ok for short walks or if your child does not nap anymore in a stroller
*When you fold the stroller the child tray bangs on the floor quite forcefully
*The chile tray is quite high - once again ok if your child is bigger/older.

I ended up returning this stroller and I purchased the JOOVY Single Stroller for twice as much money and more weight but I think my baby will be much happier with an almost flat (149...Read more
