Unfortunately, I live in a rural area that does not have sidewalks and the roads while paved are pretty rough. I find I have to let the some of the air out of the tires to smooth the ride out a little. Sometimes lifting the front wheel off the ground helps also but that could be a problem if you are running. Another problem is the storage area underneath the child. It can be a little awkward to get to, especially if the child is not sitting completely upright. The cup holders for the person pushing could be a little bigger but that's not that big of a deal. There are two, so while a little inconvenient I just take two smaller drink containers if needed. Overall, this is a good stroller that covers many uses. If you are a hard-core runner, you may want something more specific for that, if it is just for everyday use it is a little bulky a smaller stroller may be what you want. But if...Read more 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Skeletor (real world) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: InStep Suburban Safari Single Stroller (Sports) Now this product first off is great. durable in weather, and easy to push through forest terrain, like rocks the size of your fist, and sticks as big as your arm, since it has the air inflatted tires it springs over hard objects.
I could go on and on how well it is for walks on any surface, but I must inform on the downside, or heads up info. We live in the desert, yet we go up to the mountains to get away from the heat, so in the forest its great, although in the desert its not since we have these sticker weeds we call goat heads, and they have flattened the soft tires in several spots so that's a downside, but on no part bad to the rest of the stroller/joggers design, to where it folds up very easily for storage. but those darn wheels again have another problem. Our old stroller with the four base wheels would shake if you tried to jog with a 20lb. toddler. The new stroller( the instep suburban safari single stroller) also has the same problem, but if you lock the...Read more 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Maru Rodriguez "Maru" (Puerto Vallarta, Mexico) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: InStep Suburban Safari Single Stroller (Sports) After searching for a jogging and all terrain stroller I decided for this one, as the price was not expensive and I read good reviews about it. I'm happy with it, and so it's my baby (she is 12 months old). She fits perfectly and confortable on it as it is very spacious. Even it doesn't reclines flat, it is perfectly confortable for her when she wants to sleep (probably for really young babies it's better one that fulls recline), the basket under seat is large enough for many stuff, I'm very happy with that because I'm a mom that carries ALOT so I have enough space for all I want. The parents tray it's OK and enough to put keys and cellular phone. It is easy to fold and unfold. It has solve my life moving around with my baby as I live in an area where the sidewalks or streets are in bad conditions or in a rustic style (made of stones), so I can ride on them perfectly with out a problem. The only thing that I can complain a little bit and it's the reason I'm not giving a 5 star is the...Read more |
