Summary: Great stroller for the money 2008-08-28
Comment: This was a great stroller for the money. It is very light weight and very mobile with a fixed or moving front wheel. Our daughter loves it and seems very comfortable in it. It folds up for transport.

Summary: Wobbly POS 2008-08-04
Comment: We got one of these five months ago. At first it seemed fine. After a couple months the frame loosened up. It's all rivets in plastic and aluminum, so there's no way to tighten anything. Now it's wobbly. With all the wheels locked it sways back and forth due to the flex in the frame. The front swivel wheel is worthless, because it shimmies and shakes the whole stroller like a paint shaker if it's not in the locked (non-swivelling) position. What a waste of money...
Here's an update. After a week InStep answered my e-mail, and they advised me that I should tighten the steering/swivel head. Remove the foot rest (four Phillips screws), and there's a nut on top of the bolt that holds the front wheel's swivel head. It's just a nylon "locking" nut. Too tight, and the front wheel won't turn. Too loose, and the front wheel wobbles like mad. Why they didn't spend 10¢ more for a castle nut and cotter pin, or why they don't mention this in the "troubleshooting" section of the owner's manual, I don't know.
Even without the front wheel shimmying like nuts, the stroller is still wobbly and excessively flexy. We've got a $600 Hartan that put up with a lot of hard use and it's still as solid as a vault. The InStep is simply cheap.

Summary: Great stroller for the money! 2008-07-26
Comment: This stroller was shipped very quickly and was easy to put together. I have enjoyed using the stroller it works much better for walking and jogging than my Graco stroller. I don't like the way the child tray has to be removed to get your child in and out but right now I just leave it off. The stroller doesn't feel as sturdy as I would have liked but I've been using it about 2 months and I haven't had any problems yet. I would recommend this stroller for anyone who doesn't have the money for a more expensive brand.

Summary: I like it.... 2008-07-25
Comment: This is a great jogging stroller. The swivel wheel through me for a loop the first time it started swiveling uncontrollably. However, I figured it out that when you are running or walking fast you should lock the front wheel. If you are slowly strolling and turning a lot unlock it.
Almost feels weightless when you're pushing it. Hold on tight when you go down hills, this one will get away from you.

Summary: Great buy 2008-06-22
Comment: I decided on this all terrain stroller based on the consumer reports review of it. I like the stroller so far. I have taken on a hiking trail which it was great on. I would not suggest using this in clothing stores or places with small aisles since it is a bit wide. But an umbrella stoller would work in that case. My daughter seems very comfortable in it. I do wish it came with a tether for saftey.
