Summary: Great umbrella stroller with nice features. 2007-05-04
Comment: This 2006 model is a great stroller that has a lot of features in a more compact style. This stroller good cross of the cheaper umbrella and the full featured bulky models. It has roomier seating than your cheaper, smaller umbrellas, but still takes up less room in your trunk. The basket is nice size for carryng small shopping bags, jackets and such. The padding of the seat is o.k. The shade is much bigger and covers more than the average umbrella stroller. There is also a built in zippered compartment on back of canopy, plenty big for cell phone and keys and such. The cup holder is perfect for carrying can of pop/med drink. And the seat reclines, which is a feature you can't get in those cheap umbrellas. Even with the recline feature and the adjustable foot rest, I personally wouldn't recommend this stroller for babies under 9 months who can't sit as well. The seat is roomy, but there is not enough support or padding for a young baby. The stroller steers well, and the bigger wheels are nice for added maneuverability over uneven surfaces. If want a compact stroller with some nice features, without all the bulkiness of a big fully featured stroller, this is a great stroller! But remember the features are nice, but not as fancy as the bigger stroller, or it wouldn't be as compact as it is. This is a good compromise between the two types of strollers, not too fancy but not to plain either. I bought this stroller for my 14 month old, and think its a great stroller for toddlers and young children

Summary: Great light weight travel stroller 2006-06-22
Comment: I bought this stroller to take on vacation for my 14 month old daughter. We had tried out several other travel strollers in the store and did research online before deciding on this one. The problem with alot of the travel strollers is that the straps do not fit young toddlers well. This one fit her the best. The wheels are also slightly larger than the Combi and Maclaren which make for a smoother ride and a more stable one. Initially I purchased the Combi City Savy Select online. The recline on it was with a string in the back, the Trip stoller has set recline positions. The straps didn't fit her well and I didn't like the carrying strap. The Combi is so lightweight I thought my older kids could easily tip it. The trip stroller has a handle on the side for carrying. The hood also gives better coverage than most travel strollers although it would be great if you could adjust it forward like our Graco. Also on the hood, the picture shown here has the hood up too far. Other pictures online and in the directions show it lower covering the baby better. I think this stroller has a great combination of features with being lightweight, compact, sturdy, safe and pretty!!!
