Summary: Great stroller for the on-the-go family 2007-04-14
Comment: I have had this stroller for 5 months, use it everyday, and LOVE it. The larger wheels and the higher handles make it very easy for this 5'8" mom to push and to handle on even our longer walks. I find the seat easy to recline with my sleeping toddler inside and she raises it when she sits up after waking! The stroller is lightweight as far as strollers go and collapses easily. It is also easy to unfold but does require two hands. I like it better than the Maclaren Triumph I had previously finding it more comfortable to push and less tippy but do wish it had the shoulder strap of the Triumph. The only downside I have found to the stroller is that the basket (fairly roomy for an umbrella stroller) is not accessible when the stroller back is fully reclined. This just means I have to remember to get what I need out of the basket before reclining the seat. Overall, I highly recommend this stroller if you want a reliable, sturdy, comfortable ride for you and your child.

Summary: The best lightweight umbrella stroller 2007-04-03
Comment: I bought this stroller when my oldest (now 4) was about 2 1/2 months old because we needed a stroller to take on the plane and didn't want to take something huge. With the seat fully reclined, he was fine in it (even though the manufacturer says older) I did a lot of research and found that this stroller is very similar to MacLaren, but not as expensive. We have used this stroller A LOT, and have had no problems with it and it still has plenty of wear left. It does not have a snack tray for the child, but I have never missed this. Nor have I missed having cup holders on the handles. You can actually put cups in the basket and they stand up quite well. The stroller is super manueverable and it's easy to open doors and steer it in with only one hand. The handles are also long enough for taller people to comfortably push it. We liked this stroller so much that when we had number 2, we got the double version which is just as great.

Summary: I finally found what I have spent years looking for... 2006-08-16
Comment: I have the Maclaren XT Techno and I always felt it was a bit to bulky to travel with and never lived up to the hype. The Swift stroller accomodates my one year old and can also comfortably hold by 41 inch, 36 pound 4 year old. It is easier to push, light and less bulky to fold up and keep in the car. It also reclines in 3 positions which most strollers of this price do not. The only drawback is the small basket, but since I usually throw bags ove rthe handles, it is not a big problem for me. I have used many brands of strollers (Maclaren, Graco and Peg Prego) at various times in my kids lives and I think this Inglesia Swift is the best one around for a lightweight stroller.
