I researched all doubles for an upcoming trip to Disney (rentals are $30/day). Needed a stroller for my 4 mos. old and 2-1/2 year old with occassional use by my 4-1/2 year old - pleased with the sturdy frame, sleek looks, 50 lb/seat weight capacity. Remember that baskets are for umbrella stroller, they are a good size. My second choice was a Maclaren Techno or Triumph but couldn't justify the cost and the Graco fit all my needs. Chicco only weighted to 40 lbs/seat and we have not had good results from a Combi single travel system. Pleased with this stroller, my four year old can push it. Cool seat adjusters to lay down and neat the way it switches from five point to three point harness. Easy to collapse and fits nicely in the car. 17 of 17 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Graco Twin IPO Stroller, Navarro (Baby Product) Just got my stroller yesterday. Put it together very easily. It is very small when folded, but heavy (over 30lbs). seems sturdy...but I just pushed it around my living room. It opens & closes easily.
We bought this for my 4y/o & 1y/o. My 4y/o is only 40lbs, 41 inches. She does not fit in this stroller. It holds her weight fine, but when the seat is reclined, there is a separate little "canopy" attached to the seat that she can't fit her head under. So, to lay in the stroller, she has to slouch down & is very uncomfortable. I was really excited to find this stroller, but it's not going to work for us. We're taking it back. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Graco Twin IPO Stroller, Navarro (Baby Product) This stroller steers much better than my double snap and go. It feels nice and sturdy and is a little on the heavy side but that is why we bought it over a combi. It felt like it would be more durable. The shoulder straps attach to the waist clip before it is clipped to the center buckle if that makes sense. It is a little more difficult to get used to at first but getting the child out is a breeze. No squishing arms trying to get them out. I like the flocked feeling handles as opposed to the soft foam that was on my other stroller which snags and gets torn up easily. I am 5'10" and I do kick the wheel a little bit but I will get used to it. It isn't bad enough to worry about. |
