Great introductory stroller, a bit short for tall people,

As a new mom, this set makes it easy for me. I really can collapse the stroller frame with one hand. It is compact and lightweight, with a generously sized basket - makes for great quick trips to the store and can be easily maneuvered through tight spaces. I imagine it would also work really well in a restaurant - our son is not even a month old so we haven't made it that far yet. The car seat snaps easily into place and has extra safety cords once in place. One thing to note about the car seat is that it is one of the lesser expensive versions of the Graco Snugride. Safety is comparable (according to the DPS trooper who installed ours), but the straps have to be adjusted from the rear, which is not the easiest thing to do. You will see other versions of the Snugride that have an orange button in the front and the straps can easily be adjusted that way. We are expecting a baby very soon and we needed something to bring the baby home and move around for the first couple of months. As first time parents, shopping for the perfect thing was an overwhelming experience for us and we were very skeptical to order this product at first. Once the product arrived we were very excited and happy. It is practical, compact, very easy to assemble and serves multiple uses.
The carseat (base is included!) is very easy to deal with and the frame is sturdy. Another plus is how easy it is to fit the stroller through the doors and hallways of our apartment complex... I would definitely recommend this product!

We've been using it for four months now and like it. Here are the pro and cons, in my opinion:
Pros
1. It's relatively inexpensive for both an infant carseat and a stroller. We also bought a Britax car seat and a jogger-style stroller for when she's older and heavier but wanted the convenience of not having to wake up a sleeping baby to transfer from car to house.
2. The stroller frame is easy to fold up, and light so it's easy for me to throw in the trunk
3. The carseat has nice, neutral colored polka dots so we can save it and use it again even if we have a boy the next time.
4. The car seat itself is easy to use, easy to adjust, and easy to snap into the base when putting it into the car. I do recommend you buy a set of car seat strap covers to put around the straps. The one day we didn't use them because they were in the wash, baby got red marks on her neck from the shoulder straps.
