Comment: To All Parents: No matter what stroller you buy, if you are going to use it outside, make absolutely certain that the canopy is big and that it can rotate around the full front of the stroller. Otherwise, you'll be walking west on your favorite shopping street at 3:30 or 4:00pm and you'll notice your baby struggling in the direct sunlight and you'll have to stop and put sunscreen on or make sure she's not too hot. Take any chair you want outside with a clear view west and notice just how early it is in the day before the sun is baking down directly into your face. It isn't 5:00pm its a lot closer to 2:00 or 3:00pm depending on the time of year. Trust me, you'll thank me. This seems simple, but movable canopy's really are rare it seems. Most strollers come with some tiny little fabric attached to a top bar that might block the sun from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm but that's it. If you don't want to lube your baby up with sunscreen for every 20 minute walk, trust me on this and get any stroller you want with a movable full size canopy. (The canopy on this one rotes all the way, so it litterally will sit on top of her thighs. It came in very handy when we were having a great day at the Cherry Creek Arts festival heading west back toward the car.)
We bought this stroller when our girl outgrew her old one. We did tons of research and were resigned to paying an arm and a leg for a Peg Whatever, or a BOB, or a Phil and Ted or whatever Cameron Diaz is pushing around. Then we found this one. They are a little bit harder to find. I don't think they put quite as much marketing muscle behind theirs, but my Dreamer Design has sat next to the above mentioned strollers and others on many occasions, and mine is just as good or better. (It doesn't have super thick plastic spokes in the wheels, but I haven't had any trouble with mine, and I've taken it over the bumpiest terrain you'd be willing to go over with a 1 year old in a stroller). We've taken it on the trails around here (Denver) and up in the mountains. It turns super easy, and she fits comfortably in it. It rolls very smoothly with no effort at all. Once the harness is adjusted, its a breeze to put her in and out.
Truth be told, I don't jog with it. I bought it for its go anywhere ability, not because I'm a runner. Which brings me to my only complaint. There is no tray or no cup holder which probably makes sense if you are a jogger. There are lots of zippered pouches and two water bottle holders, but those are useless for sippy cups or for Daddy's Frapacinco. Otherwise, this thing is awesome. It obviously doesn't fold up as small as an umbrella stroller, but it folds completely in half. It's a two handed operation, but simple and easy. The under seat storage area is normal length and width, but very shallow, so a diaper bag is all that fits.
Oh, and as an added bonus. We had an issue with the frame after 6 months. I took pictures of it emailed them to Dreamer Design and they sent me a replacement frame piece no fuss, no muss, no credit card number, no ship back the old one, just "sorry, here's what you need to fix it. Let us know if you have any other problems." I love a company that will stand behind its product. Too bad the reviewer who had the straps rip didn't contact the company. I'm sure he would have been more than satisfied.

Summary: Love this stroller 2007-01-15
Comment: I bought this stroller about a month ago. I was looking for a stroller that had a larger wieght capacity than the typical 35 to 45 pound limits. My two year old is already 38 pounds and I wanted to be sure that we had room to grow in a stroller. My primary use for the stroller is walking in our neighborhood: to, from and on the beach and on the bike trail. I do run, but not great distances so an elborate jogger, while totally cool, was totally not necessary. I forewent the "coolness" factor for the convenience of the swivel front wheel.
I ordered the stroller on-line with some trepidation .. but all of my research landed me on this product and so I decided to risk it. When the box arrived it was HEAVY .. so I was a little nervous about getting it out and putting it together. But, it was a breeze to assemble. I did it by myself and I am not a handy person at all!
The stroller is studly. Seriously a heavy duty stroller. Strong and large. There are little pockets everywhere. The basket underneath is a little hard to access beacuse it's edges are so close to the seat bottom, but it's a good size. The push bar is adjustable. I am 5'11" and I dont' have the handle even close to the highest position. The tires are pretty fat and they are smooth. It's not a heavy duty jogging stroller .. but talk about comfort! The air valve is a little hard to access .. but experience with three other jogger type strollers makes me believe that this is a common issue and one with which one should just contend.
Upon assembly, my two year old was rarin' to go so we headed to the beach. This stroller is a breeze to steer. I swear I pushed that stroller one handed all the way to the beach. Half way there my two year old decided to walk so I decided to test the stroller. I had my ten year old climb in. He's about 75 pounds. Then I ran up the street. The stroller managed both the weight and the speed with same apparent ease as it had when I was walking my two year old. I am so impressed with this stroller!
The only negatives that I could find are that the hood is a little flimsy. Large yes but the arches aren't very strong and it's kinda saggy. I also think that the harness system is a little complicated and I am not sure that i really have it figured out.
I would not hesitate to reccomend this stroller.
