Summary: If you are over 5' tall, do not purchase this stroller! 2008-08-14
Comment: To say I hate this stroller is an understatement! Everyone who has pushed our child in this stroller has kicked the wheels while walking and had to modify their stride while walking. The handle is too low for me and I am only 5'4" tall, my husband looks like a hunchback pushing it!

If you happen to acquire this stroller, do what we did. Go to the local home improvement store and get 3/4" PVC in the plumbing section. Take the wheels off the stroller and add about 6" of the PVC to the stroller legs. You will no longer be able to fold the stroller as small as originally, but it is totally worth the sacrafice!

Summary: Not enough sun protection 2008-08-11
Comment: Great lightweight stroller but not enough protection from the sun, will have to look for something since the shade does not extend far enough.

Summary: Overall it works for us 2008-07-13
Comment: This was the exact type of stroller that I was looking for, and here is why... My son will be 3 years old next month, weighs 35 pounds, and is 39" tall. He is a big boy for his age, and on top of hauling him around, I was strolling him around in this big "cadillac" graco travel system stroller that we've had since he was born. I wanted something more compact, lightweight, I wanted to downsize, and I wanted something more age appropriate for a toddler (something that was easy for him to get in and out of when he wanted to walk).

I wanted a stroller that had a drink holder by the handles for myself, and also one for my son like the graco, but we settled with this one which only has a cup holder for my son. Everything about this stroller for the most part is great, however I will state my dislikes: the cargo area at the bottom is fairly small, but it's big enough for an essential extra diaper bag. One thing I really have a problem with is that this stroller does not have a lot of leg room for toddlers...being that my son is 39" and around 35 pounds his legs are long, and if he falls asleep, sometimes his feet fall off of the leg rest and drag on the wheels. There is also not a lot of knee room when you bend his legs to put on the leg rest. I can't see my son getting to 55 pounds and being comfortable in this stroller though. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

What I love about this stroller overall: it does what it says it does, it is lightweight, it does fold to a very compact size, and it rides smoothly, and is easy to push and maneuver with one hand. I also like the small diaper bag that comes with the stroller...nice to have extra storage for essentials.

Summary: Works great for us 2008-07-09
Comment: I'm really impressed with this stroller, especially after having a very heavy Graco (as part of the travel system). I was in the market for a lightweight, functional stroller and I believe I have it! I do agree, the basket underneath is pretty much worthless - what's up with the bar right in the middle of it? Can't get much in or out. And I would liked to have had a cupholder for me, but again, overall I'm pleased. It's extremely lightweight, folds easily, steers well and the handle-bars are a good height for me (and I'm 5'11).

Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: Forms a manageable travel system. 2008-07-02
Comment: The Helio was the only stroller in a sub-$300 travel system (with the Shuttle car seat) that my wife (5' and 104 lbs) can physically manage. All other travel systems weighed significantly more and took more effort to close and lift into our cars.

Will follow-up on durability once we put it to actual use...
