Summary: Love it! 2008-11-08
Comment: This stroller is GREAT. It is lightweight, comes with a nice carry case, as well as a shoulder strap attached to the stroller. It is the tallest stroller I have been able to find which is GREAT for my back. I no longer have to bend to push the stroller, so my back doesn't hurt anymore after long walks. It also folds down like a regular stroller and then it folds in HALF, length wise. It's amazing. It is also an inch wider than other combi strollers (like at Babies R Us). It is actually a nicer version than the one at Babies R Us, but costs less on line. It has a nice handy dandy cup holder too. The only reason I give it 4 and not 5 stars is that there is literally a bar going right through the carry basket underneath which prevents you from putting a diaper bag in it, or any other bag of any size. Kinda annoying, but I'll survive. It also does not fold with one hand, but it does open with one hand. It's worth those two inconveniences. Oh, another thing that is GREAT about it is how it reclines. It is a pull cord so you can adjust to ANY recline you want. It is not a 3 or 4 or 5 position recline, it is ANY recline angle you want. It's just fabulous! =)

Summary: Great value, great stroller 2008-10-11
Comment: The Combi City Savvy is a great stroller all around. It looks great for a man or a woman to drive around, weighs almost nothing and is EASY. It seriously weighs as much as my pocketbook does on my back I think. Amazing. I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old, and this stroller works for both of them. It is easy for me to push my three year old with one hand while I am holding my 6 month old. Can't say much more than that on the ease of it! The wheels work just fine - the swivel wheels are great and makes it very easy to push in the tightest of spaces! For such a lightweight stroller, it really is very sturdy. The basket is big enough to hold just what you need for an afternoon out and there is also a little storage bag on the back of the stroller if needed. It is very easy to open the stroller, but the one thing I wish it would have had is a one-handed fold for those times when you need to fold the stroller and hold a baby at the same time. You need two hands (one hand on each side of the handle) to fold it, however, with practice, it can be done. All around, this is a great stroller for the price.

Summary: Very dissapointing 2008-07-22
Comment: I thought Combi made great strollers. They did 10 years ago when my daughter was born but I am greatly disappointed by this one. This stroller is light weight but it is difficult to maneuver in small spaces like the elevator. The front wheels get stuck and i have to lift up the stroller to maneuver myself out of the elevator. I am very disappointed by this stroller, do not buy it.

Summary: great stroller 2008-01-03
Comment: light for travelling. handle is higher than on those my friends bought a couple of years ago and for that reason this stroller feels better. Basket is not very accesible. One con: to fold it, you need both hands.

Summary: Okay stroller - just be careful!!! 2007-06-22
Comment: This stroller is advertised as "birth to 45 lbs". My son is 3 1/2 and weighs 37 lbs. He is a very tall 3 year old, and this stoller is really not comfortable for him. He has no head support if he leans back (the seat ends at his shoulders) and we can't use the bar in the front of the stroller because his legs are too long to fit between it and still rest on the (tiny) foot rest. I do like that this stroller is stylish and very, very light. It comes with it's own carrying case to keep it clean during travel.
Unfortunately, our stroller broke yesterday...we've only used it a few times for travel until yesterday, when we walked a 5K with our son in it. During the walk, we came across a small gravel patch where the sidewalk was being redone and my husband pushed the stroller over it. To our shock, when we got back on the sidewalk, we found that one of the bars that holds most of the support had bent/collapsed under not much pressure (my husband was not running or racing through the gravel). The stroller is now broken and we have to find another for baby #2. If you buy this stroller, make sure you only use it in the "city" as it's name implies or you might regret it.
Also, while the handle is higher for taller parents, the wheels are almost right under the handle, so you end up kicking them anyway while you're walking unless you try to walk to the side of the stoller or bend over to walk. This stroller is great for short walks through the airport, but not for an everyday use take it to the park type stroller. My last complaint (I promise!) - the mesh basket underneath the stroller is really, really small and a bar runs right through it, so it's hard to shove stuff in there. We can't put much more than a few snacks and his jacket in there and it hangs awfully low near the tires. I hope this helps others out there, I know reviews help me a lot!
