Unlike the other reviewer, I didn't have a problem at all. I have the Chicco Keyfit30 and it easily went into this car seat adapter. No, it's doesn't click and lock as if it's in the case seat base, but I didn't expect it to as nothing is really compatable with Chicco other than Chicco products. That being said, the sun shade doesn't go fully over the car seat, it goes half way and the sun shade on the car seat covers the other half, I believe there is a two inch gap betweeen the sun shades, but to be honest, I strongly prefer it that way. We all know that the SIDS research shows how important airflow is and the "mandatory sun shade gap" allows for that.
In total, it's fine. Could be better, but perfectly acceptable and certainly no reason not to purchase the fabulous Bumbleride!

Once the car seat was installed, I could not even use the other seat's canopy for my 2-year old. It was all very crammed, squished, and compromised the other good features of the stroller. I am writing a separate review for the Indie Twin Bumbleride 2011 Indie Twin 4 Wheel All Terrain Stroller with 12" Wheels, Ruby, which is a nice enough stroller, but not for use with an infant car seat.
That said, the stroller itself seems conducive to use for an infant - their is an infant head support included in the stroller and the straps seem to get tight enough for a small infant. I just really like leaving my infant in the car seat. I also bought a...Read more
