The sunshade and the rain cover are shown installed without the canopy on all bugaboo publications. However, I just verified with Bugaboo USA that neither of these items can be installed without the canopy in place. The sunshade doesn't fit as tightly as it looks on the advertisement either - it's more like a giant mosquito net. I still prefer using it instead of draping a blanket over the stroller. We shall wait and see if my son will be able to sleep in it. (I am giving birth in a week.)

At first I was skeptical about this product as all the bugaboo items need to be purchased seperately making this one expensive investment.
However this net is more convienient than using the umbrella that bugaboo offers. The netting is also great to keep the Mosquitoes out. I live in Tokyo so this UV netting is ideal for hot Tokyo Summers and the horrible Mosquitoes [Ka] that swarm at sundown. It only fits properly with the Breezy Canopy- which In my Opinion is a better canopy that the original size- which is a bit small.
