This review is from: Bugaboo Maxi Cosi Mico Car Seat Adapter (Baby Product) These adapters work fine, but be very careful that you use them the right way around, if not your going to be having hours of "fun" trying to get them to release from the car seat, not exactly the easiest thing to do. But if you follow the directions, they work well on the bugaboo, I wish they could stay on the care seat when not in use, but they are too big and prevent the car seat being placed into the base unit in the car. You have to remove them when you take the Mico Car seat away from the Bugaboo frame, then release the adapters before you are ready to put the car seat into the car. (its not a big deal just a little extra step, and another chance to put them on the wrong way around when you got to use them again). I will add either a color code or a label to one or both to make sure its easy to know which goes to the left and which goes to the right side. By This review is from: Bugaboo Maxi Cosi Mico Car Seat Adapter (Baby Product) This is a great accessory for the Bugaboo stroller! I read the other reviews and really don't understand why they are so bad. I never ever had any problems with it. I used these adapters with the Bugaboo Cameleon for my 2 kids and loved them. One adapter has a "R" for right on it, the other one a "L" for left. You put them on the stroller - of course it also happened to me that I put it on the wrong side, but never had a problem taking them off - put the car seat on it and you're ready to go! No need to wake your baby up. To take the car seat off, you push the 2 release buttons on the car seat, take it off, then you push the 2 release buttons on the adapters (the white part) and them take off. That's it! When we went to put the adapter on the Bugaboo to put it all together - things went horribly wrong. We followed the directions and the adapters got stuck. So stuck, that by the time we had pulled them out, they cracked the portion of the car seat they went into. If you google "maxi cosi car seat adapter stuck" you will find there are many, many folks who have the same problem. |
