Our 8 month old was in this car seat installed in our minivan. The van was hit by a vehicle driving at least 35MPH at time of impact, forcing our vehicle (from a stop) into a curb and the vehicle in front of it. Our baby was just fine - this system is perfectly safe; so much so we bought the same one to replace it.
In addition, it only takes common sense to use this travel system as a whole. Its pretty self explanatory.

*The carrier handle remains the best design to pick up the carrier... even as compared with the more expensive brands.
*The system is NOT safe for the baby! When the infant seat is locked into the stroller per manual instructions, with time, even while walking on a flat plane, the babies head flopps forward and dangles. This looks extremely unsafe... as though the babies neck could snap at any moment.
*The parent cup tray is difficult to lock in and comes out easily. I bent my finger...Read more
