Summary: Perfect Stroller! 2008-09-20
Comment: This stroller was exactly what we were looking for. I have a one year old daughter and im due on Nov 21st with our second child. This stroller is so versatile! The back seat can be removed and you can use the sit and stand feature that has a saftey belt,a jump seat, and a step to stand on. The front seat can be removed and an infant car seat can be secured there instead, facing you, which is great! I didnt like any of the other colors, just serengetti, and it's very nice. a pretty tanish soft material that seems very durable. the canopys are large enough to block the sun, and the wheels are smaller than my graco single stroller. I think this is the best double stroller for the money, and better than many of the more expensive ones as well :)

Summary: Tried Something New 2008-09-01
Comment: I began researching double strollers, since I have a three-year old who still enjoys riding in the stroller, and am expecting a baby in October 2008. At Babies R' Us, I tried out some of the double strollers, including Peg Perego, which the associate said was the best. After my viewing experience at Babies R' Us, I had trouble deciding whether to buy a side-by-side or front/back stroller and overall which brand/make and model. With all the frustration of having too many options to choose from, I resorted back to the Combi (since that it what I have been using since my 3-year old was an infant).
A few days ago, my oldest daughter (age 9) felt a sudden urge to browse a baby consignment shop on our way home. She practically begged me to stop, as if she knew we would find something good. She immediately noticed the Baby Trend Serengetti, sitting outside the store. We inquired and was told that it had just come in that morning and that the woman who owned it did not use it. This was apparent, as the stroller was in tip-top condition, complete with instruction manuel attached.
The shop owner took the time to show us how the stroller easily converted and all of the other cool do-dads. I really liked that the footrest is large and the storage space is sufficient. The carseat attachment bar is great too, as it is compatible with most infant seats. As compared to the Combi, it is definitely heavier, a lot more bulkier, and does not store as well when folded. All-in-all I can't complain. I really lucked out on a great brand (from reading the other reviews about the Baby Trend Silverado), and payed $100 for it. I think our kids will enjoy the versatility for years to come...
